About — Poppy Calypso design

Hey, I’m Poppy Calypso! I’m a freelance multidisciplinary graphic designer and illustrator based in the south-west of England.

It’s hard to put my finger on one influence that carved my path to where I am today. As a kid, I was obsessed with Polly Pockets, bodyboarding, and Runescape, then as I got older those obsessions turned into makeup, surfing, and travel. When I'm away from my laptop, you can find me enjoying a matcha latte, working on Café Catte, or trying not to buy everything in the Sephora sale.

The process

Reach out and let's schedule in a discovery call. Here, we'll chat about what you're looking for, your brand, and how we can work together to create something wonderful.
When we've agreed upon a package tailored specifically to your needs, I'll set to work on a strategy for your project. This will depend on the type of work you need, but could include things like moodboards, research, or style types.
Once you're happy with the direction we'll be taking, the fun begins! I'll crack on with your project, giving updates and always keeping a line of communication open so we can tweak and adjust as we go to keep the project inline with your vision.
Once the designs are approved, I'll get everything wrapped up and finish any additional agreed materials. I'll send you the agreed files and you can share your shiny new designs with the world!
